Hatikva Initiative 2009

View for the Future

The Hatikva initiative views the changes in the Jewish world as a spiritual and ethical challenge in the context of the Jewish people’s demographic uncertainty, with numbers decreasing every decade. It is an economic, political and social challenge that demands immediate change and great foresight.

The goal is to make the initiative grow to become an annual tradition increasing by number, each passing year .Each year a different Jewish community around the world will ultimately be responsible to organize the event. The organizing community will then in turn, strengthen and expend their ties with other Jewish communities. Using this time and space continual approach for creating the event will allow each passing year to introduce more communities to the Jewish Global bond.
